Historic Semaphore House offers a home away from home. It allows complete independence while still being in a friendly, supportive environment.
Cook in your own kitchen when it suits you. Come and go as you wish. There are outside tables and chairs for you to relax or get to know others, a gas BBQ, bicycles, a table tennis table and other sports equipment such as beach volleyball, badminton & a footy. There is also a coin operated washing machine, an outside clothesline, plus vacuum cleaner and other cleaning items for all tenants to use.
The city & universities are easy & quick to reach. Historic Port Adelaide is 2 minutes away. The large, modern West Lakes Shopping Mall & famous AAMI Football Stadium are an easy bus ride away & the beach is virtually at your doorstep.
Semaphore House, with its mix of Australian & International students is a great place to live.
Semaphore House BBQ’s are legendary [so they say!] These free BBQ’s are held about once a term to welcome new students, to allow students to get to know one another better & to provide a welcome break from study.
Semaphore House continues to provide an atmosphere that is conducive to success in study. Many students are Post Grad.
